AED 603 GDA Computer Graphics and Technology in the Art Classroom
Computer graphics on the Macintosh computer with adaptations to PC provide the context for learning a variety of software programs and their applications to the art classroom grades Pre-K to 12. Assistive and instructional technology is used for diverse student populations to acquire information, communicate and address verbal and visual literacy. Students engage in instructional planning and develop skill in designing and offering differentiated instruction that is designed to enhance learning and address the National and NYS Learning Standards for Visual Arts, especially #s 1 and 2. A studio-format is used to integrate content and pedagogy. Required for Initial Certification.
